About Bangkok Climate Action Week

Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) is an annual city-based climate festival activating the power of people to drive transformative change. from September 28th to October 4th 2025. The inaugural edition will take place across iconic venues across Bangkok, including Bangkok Arts and Culture Center (BACC) and Lumpini Park, from 28 September to 4 October, 2025. BKKCAW invites citizens, creatives, communities, and institutions to come together in new ways — celebrating local leadership and collective imagination to shape a climate-safe, inclusive future for Southeast Asia.

Organized by the Just Transitions Incubator (JUTI) in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), BKKCAW is more than an event — it’s an open invitation to reimagine climate action from the ground up. Inspired and supported by London Climate Action Week (LCAW), which has become the largest independent climate gathering in Europe, BKKCAW leverages public programs, performances, exhibitions, policy labs, and community-led experiments to foster whole-of-society engagement that is joyful, bold, and leads to lasting impact.
