This panel brings together five emerging women leaders from The Asia Foundation’s IN-CLIMATE (Inclusive Climate Action) program to share how communities most affected by the climate crisis are driving solutions from the frontlines. The panelist, representing women with disabilities, grassroots women's organizations, and indigenous communities, will explore how climate change intersects with gender, disability, age, and social identity, while highlighting their journeys from lived experience to climate leadership. The session challenges conventional narratives that portray marginalized groups solely as vulnerable populations and instead showcases their roles as innovators, advocates, and agents of change through personal stories, community initiatives, and policy advocacy.
