Financing Impact Across Places and Themes Climate, nature, and bioeconomy solutions often sit at the intersection of complex places and specific thematic challenges. This session explores how place-based and theme-based financing approaches can work together to unlock capital for impact. The discussion will look at what each approach can achieve, where the gaps are, and how program interventions can help build the pipeline, evidence, and conditions needed for further investment. It will also explore the role of blended finance in connecting public, philanthropic, concessional, and commercial capital to de-risk investments and support solutions from early-stage intervention to scale. At the center of the conversation is a practical question: how can we design financing strategies that respond to the realities of places while mobilizing the sector-specific expertise, markets, and capital needed to make climate, nature, and bioeconomy solutions financially sustainable and scalable?
