Building the Next Generation of Women Leaders in Energy Asia's energy sector is growing faster than ever, and the leaders it develops in the next few years will shape the transition for generations to come. Yet women remain under-represented in senior energy roles in Thailand and across much of the region. Most support for women in energy focuses on getting them into the sector. Far less goes to an equally critical point: when women first step into senior roles. In this interactive session, we'll hear from women leading in energy in Thailand and across Asia. Then funders and stakeholders will discuss what a support framework needs and who could build it. Together, we'll draft a short design brief for a first programme in Thailand, and possibly the wider region. By invitation, for around 30 participants from development finance, philanthropy, policy, industry and education. The session runs under the Chatham House Rule.
