Kidical Mass Bangkok is a family-friendly celebration of cycling and climate action, bringing kids, kids at heart, and families together to experience Bangkok’s streets by bike as part of Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW). Kidical Mass began in April 2008 in Eugene, Oregon, and has since grown into a global movement of family-friendly bike rides. Each local ride is shaped by its own community — its streets, neighborhoods, families, and favorite places to gather. In Bangkok, we’ll ride together at a relaxed, family-friendly pace, starting at a local meeting point and finishing somewhere fun. The route will be chosen with families in mind, creating a chance to explore our city from a different perspective while showing that children belong on Bangkok’s streets too. All kinds of wheels are welcome! Kids’ bikes, balance bikes, trailers, child seats, cargo bikes, longtails, bakfiets, tandems, folding bikes, trikes, and anything else that rolls — bring what works for you and your family. We believe that Kids Are Traffic Too. Children should be able to safely walk and cycle around their neighborhoods, and families should have real choices about how they get around. Kidical Mass is a celebration of that idea — and a joyful reminder that streets can be places for people, play, community, and connection. So bring your family, bring your bike, and come pedal around Bangkok with us. Let’s make climate action fun, visible, and family-sized.
