General

Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) is an annual city-based climate festival that mobilises individuals, communities, and institutions to co-create transformative change. Through creativity, dialogue, and bold collaboration, it transforms ideas into action. The inaugural event will take place from 3 to 11 October 2026 across various venues in Bangkok.

BKKCAW is organised by the Just Transitions Incubator (JUTI) in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). The initiative is inspired and supported by London Climate Action Week (LCAW), Europe's largest independent climate gathering.

Think of BKKCAW as a city-wide stage for climate creativity. It’s a completely new type of week-long festival. A decentralised participatory platform where climate meets culture, community, and climate action. Youths, creatives, grassroots, and non-traditional players are especially welcome. Events of all sizes and formats are encouraged!
