Climate-Ready Districts and Industrial Estates: Accelerating the Energy Transition and Sustainable Growth

About this event

Cities across Southeast Asia face the shared challenge of supporting rapid growth while reducing carbon emissions, strengthening resilience and improving urban performance. Bringing together insights and perspectives from government and industry, through keynotes, case studies and panel discussion, as part of Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026, this event will examine how urban planning, infrastructure, and energy systems can be better connected to deliver climate-ready cities, districts and industrial estates. Drawing on experience from Singapore, Thailand and the wider Asia region, industry experts will explore solutions spanning renewable energy integration, energy management and storage, sustainable materials and digital innovation. The discussion will focus on moving from ambition to implementation, including the incentives, partnerships and practical interventions needed to deliver low-carbon development at scale. It will connect government, property and energy leaders and create space for collaboration around the next generation of sustainable urban development.
