About this event

Across Asia, countries face a shared imperative: sustaining economic growth while meeting climate commitments and building resilience. This session will explore how Long-term low-carbon development strategies (LT-LEDS) can ensure these priorities reinforce each other. The session will address three critical questions: 1. What is needed to build climate-resilient, low-emission agricultural systems? 2. How can we mobilise finance to accelerate climate action across the Global South? 3. How can AI drive climate action while minimising its environmental footprint?
Grounded in field-level insights from the IndiaLEDS Research and Action Platform, the discussion will explore structural choices, trade-offs, and investment frameworks. The IndiaLEDS Research and Action Platform, a joint initiative by Kalpa Impact and India Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, is a collaborative hub that documents operational low-emission development pathways at national and sub-national levels, bringing together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to support evidence-based climate action. About the organisers Kalpa Impact is a global strategy consulting and programme implementation organisation. Its work spans climate resilience, artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, and health innovation. Established in 1961, IIMA is India's premier business school, ranked #21 globally in the 2026 QS World University Rankings for Business & Management Studies and #27 in the FT Global MBA Rankings.
