Closing the Gap: From Climate Data to Urban Action

About this event

When Data Hits the Streets. Read the Climate. Shape the City. Retrospective planning can no longer protect our cities from climate risks. Scientists, city officials, and the private sector. The panel presents a pathway from scientific climate data to city-level evidence, decision-making, and concrete action, drawing on case studies from Thailand's pilot cities and a global perspective from Freiburg, Germany. One room, one journey: a deep dive into how we can turn climate data into urban resilience. This session will be held on-site at Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026 and livestreamed as part of Urban October at GIZ
