Beyond Green Claims: Accountability, Carbon Markets and Corporate Responsibility in ASEAN–China Agri-food Systems

Governments and businesses are increasingly promoting carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and corporate net-zero commitments to drive decarbonization. But do these market-based solutions deliver real emission reductions? Do they benefit local farming communities? Or do they represent sophisticated greenwashing? Co-organized by Foodthink and ClientEarth, this three-hour interactive dialogue tackles these urgent questions directly, centering climate justice and community rights in regional food systems, including agriculture, fishery and forestry.
