Financing Farmers for Climate Action: Unlocking Climate Finance, Insurance and Investment for ASEAN Smallholders

About this event

This session convenes policymakers, farmer organisations, financial institutions, development partners, youth and the private sector from across ASEAN to explore practical ways of expanding climate finance, agricultural insurance and investment for smallholder farmers, to support the adoption of inclusive bioeconomy, circular and nexus approaches to optimize resource efficiency and manage trade-offs in production systems. Despite being among those most affected by climate change, smallholders remain largely excluded from climate finance. The programme is built to move beyond discussion toward co-designed, implementable solutions.
