Bridging Research and Practice for Climate Adaptation in Asia

How can climate adaptation research better inform policy and practice across Asia? Join this interactive roundtable discussion bringing together researchers from the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) programme and practitioners working at the interface of policy, implementation, financing, partnerships, and gender equality. The session will showcase lessons from CLARE-supported research across diverse contexts. CLARE researchers will reflect on how the co-production of research with communities and local governments can contribute to policy influence and more effective climate action. Practitioner speakers will provide perspectives on how research evidence can be translated into implementation through stronger partnerships, financing mechanisms, and gender-responsive approaches. The discussion will also explore how development and adaptation practitioners can make greater use of CLARE research findings in their programmes and decision-making processes.
