Closing Ceremony | Building the Soil

About this event

BKKCAW 2026 Closing Ceremony: Building the Soil for What Comes Next 🌱 For nine days, Bangkok has brought together people and ideas from Thailand, across Southeast Asia and around the world. Conversations have crossed communities, sectors and borders, creating new connections and possibilities for what a New Economy, New Climate could become. Now comes the important part: what grows from here? And the timing matters. As BKKCAW closes, Bangkok prepares to welcome the World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings, carrying these conversations into an even wider global moment. What has grown across BKKCAW can continue through the partnerships, projects, investment, policy conversations and relationships that follow. . If the Opening was our Moment for Choice, the Closing is where we begin to build the soil for those choices to take root and grow. 16.00-16.30 Registration at Bhirombhakdi Pavilion, Lumphini Park 16.30-17.00 Welcoming Performance 17.00-17.15 Commemorative Photo Session 17.15-17.35 Opening Remarks and Keynote Vision Address - Chadchart Sittipunt Governor of Bangkok - Thapanee Kiatphaibool Director of TAT - Leo Horn-Phathanothai OBE Covenor and Steering Committee Co-chair of BKKCAW 17.35-18.00 Reflections on BKKCAW 2026 By Key Stakeholder Groups 18.00-18.30 Presentation of Key Outcomes and Next Steps 18.30-18.45 Closing Remarks: from Bangkok to the World 19.00-20.00 Climate Concert by Wan Thanakrit
