Connecting Climate Adaptation and Food Systems: Expanding Thailand’s Research and Action Network

About this event

How can research better support climate adaptation across Thailand’s food systems? Building on the outcomes of the Climate Adaptation Research Forum (CARF) 2026, this interactive session brings together researchers, policymakers, businesses, civil society organizations, and other food-system stakeholders to explore this question. The session, organized by Chulalongkorn Univesity Social Research Institute (CUSRI), Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), and the Adaptation Research Alliance (ARA) will present key insights and recommendations emerging from CARF 2026 and provide a platform for dialogue on the challenges and opportunities for strengthening climate resilience across food value chains. Through interactive discussions and collaborative activities, participants will identify priority adaptation needs, exchange experiences and perspectives, and explore opportunities for future partnerships between research and practice. By connecting diverse stakeholders around a shared agenda, the event aims to strengthen collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and support more resilient and sustainable food systems in Thailand.
