Sustainable Finance Pathways: China–Thailand–Southeast Asia
Capital is moving into climate and clean energy across Southeast Asia, and the instruments for directing it have multiplied. What is less clear is which of those instruments actually work across a border, and what it takes to get a deal done. This public forum brings that conversation into the open. Climate Finance Network Thailand and Greenovation Hub share preliminary findings from joint research on climate investment and finance across China and Thailand. The Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment then introduces instruments and platforms designed to support sustainable investment in emerging markets. The morning closes with a panel of practitioners who have issued, arranged or invested in sustainable debt across Thailand, China and the wider region. Rather than restating the case for sustainable finance, they work through what specific transactions actually required, where they nearly stalled, and which features transfer to other markets. Free to attend and open to all. Conducted in English. No finance background needed. An invitation-only roundtable for a smaller group of practitioners follows in the afternoon.

The Reef Talks
Coral doesn't do straight lines. Neither do we. Join artist and regenerative designer Natalie Limwatana and marine scientist Dr. Rahul Mehrotra as they dive into coral reef conservation, human intervention, and colonisation (the good kind). This conversation is as ambitious as the project itself - touching on funding, policy, citizen action, carbon credits, circular design. This is not a theory: the day after this exhibition closes, its structures will be deployed in the Gulf of Thailand. Part art talk, part science night, entirely underwater in spirit. Arrive early to see the exhibition and meet our project team and stay until 20:00 for drinks and food at Na Cafe.

Youth Citizen Science Showcase & Networking Event
The Youth in Biodiversity Showcase, taking place on 10 October 2026, is a full-day celebration of the young conservation leaders who completed GYBN Thailand's Training of Trainers on Citizen Science and Biodiversity Conservation. The programme's 24 fellows ran citizen science activities across eight locations in Thailand, engaging around 300 participants and documenting roughly 1,000 biodiversity records on iNaturalist. The showcase brings these fellows together with youth networks, government agencies, funders, academics, and conservation practitioners for a day of stage presentations, a parallel booth exhibition, and a hands-on urban ecology activity, closing with an awards celebration. Built around three pillars, Celebrate, Connect, and Continue, the event aims to recognise youth as genuine drivers of conservation and to open lasting pathways for peer-to-peer and intergenerational collaboration. It is open to 80-100 participants, including the general public.

Art Around Us Project
Organised by: Education Department, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) In Partnership with: Dance for All Thailand Project Supporter: HIPOWER BEE COMPANY LIMITED Principal Corporate Supporter: Thai Beverage Public Company Limited Education Programme Supporter: The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited BACC Introduces ‘Art Around Us’ Learning Creator Lab #2 Project by Kru Som – Wipavee Patoompong Transforming Everyday Art into Spaces for Learning, Growth, and Family Connection Education Department of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) and Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) invite children, families, and caregivers to discover new perspectives on ‘art’ through Art Around Us, a creative art programme for children and families by Wipavee Patoompong (Kru Som), a Learning Process Designer and facilitator of Learning Creators Lab #2: Creative Learning Program. With more than 20 years of experience in dance, movement, and arts-based education, Kru Som has developed a learning approach that brings together Movement, Music, Play, Storytelling, and Multisensory Learning. She sees ‘art’ as a ‘language’ that creates space for children to express themselves, experiment, ask questions, and discover through their own experiences. At the same time, adults are encouraged to learn how to observe, listen, and support children rather than simply providing the answers. Art Around Us consists of three interconnected learning experiences: Planting Creativity, a workshop for parents and caregivers; Growing Together, a workshop for children and families; and Bloom: Creative Creatures, an art workshop for children. The three experiences were developed collaboratively with creative practitioners from diverse disciplines, including Dance for All Thailand, Khing Kaan Bai, Music Garden Studio, and other participating artists and creators. Together, they bring learning experiences to life through art, movement, music, play, storytelling, as well as everyday objects, reusable and recycled materials. Through these processes, Art Around Us explores how art can foster meaningful connections between children and adults, while transforming the things around us into spaces for creativity, discovery, and shared learning. WORKSHOP 1 | PLANTING CREATIVITY: PARENT WORKSHOP Wait • Listen • Understand • Create Space for Creativity to Grow A Talk and Workshop for Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers Facilitators: Wipavee Patoompong (Kru Som), Michela Currone (Kru Michela), Apavee Phurahang Setapramote (Kru Por), and Nathinee Jiarakul (Kru Igg) Saturday, 3 October 2026 | 16.00 – 17.00 hrs. (Online via Zoom) Sunday, 11 October 2026 | 13.00 – 16.00 hrs. Venue: Multi-Function Room, 1st Floor, BACC How can we communicate with children while giving them the space, freedom, and confidence to think, experiment, and be themselves? Planting Creativity invites adults to explore how we look, listen, wait, and communicate with children—shifting from being the ones who provide all the answers to becoming companions who learn alongside them. Participants will engage through play, movement, sound, music, songs, natural materials, everyday objects, and reused materials, discovering how simple things can stimulate children’s senses, imagination, thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. They will also experience for themselves what it feels like to have no single “right answer”—to make choices, explore, change their minds, and try again. This workshop is more than simply an “activity to do with your child.” It offers parents and caregivers practical tools for recognising when to invite, when to help, when to wait, and when to step back, allowing children to take the lead in their own discoveries. Join four specialists—Kru Som, Kru Por, Kru Igg, and Kru Michela—and discover that when accompanying a child on their journey, we do not always have to lead the way. Sometimes, we can simply walk alongside, wait, listen, and discover together. Registration: Open to **50 parents, guardians or caregivers of children aged 4 – 12 Registration period: 12–30 September 2026 *Register: https://forms.gle/o8gLQTT9Ec2xmyTf9 – Please confirm your participation via email by 2 October 2026. Bringing your child with you If you need to bring your child to the workshop, a designated area outside the meeting room will be available for children to play while parents/caregivers participate in the workshop. Please arrange for a caregiver to supervise the child, as this area is outside the responsibility of the organising team. The organising team will not be responsible for any accidents or incidents that may occur in the area outside the meeting room. —— WORKSHOP 2 | GROWING TOGETHER: PARENT–CHILD WORKSHOP Connecting Through Body, Art, and Stories A Workshop for Children and Parents/Caregivers Facilitators : Wipavee Patoompong (Kru Som), Michela Currone (Kru Michela), Maneerut Singhanart (Kru Ann) – TING-A-TONG and TA-LENT SHOW Sunday, 15 November 2026 | Onsite Morning session: 10.15 – 12.15 hrs. Afternoon session: 14.00 – 16.00 hrs. Venue: Multi-Function Room, 1st Floor, BACC Children may not always be ready to tell us everything through words, and direct questions are not always the doorway through which they feel comfortable opening up. Growing Together invites parents and children to reconnect and communicate through the body, movement, art, music, and stories—turning these creative forms into a shared space where thoughts and feelings can emerge naturally. Families will explore movement with Kru Som, create art using cardboard with Kru Michela, make music with Kru Ann from TING-A-TONG, and explore puppet theatre using everyday materials with TA-LENT SHOW. Through rhythm, sound, movement, characters, puppets, and stories, children can express their inner worlds without having to speak directly. This can create a sense of safety and encourage them to open up, while giving parents the opportunity to listen, observe, and discover new aspects of their children. Some things may not need to be asked directly. Some feelings may not need to be explained in words. Yet we can still see, listen, and understand one another. Registration: Open to **20 parents–child (aged 4 – 12) pairs per session Registration period: 13 October–10 November 2026 Register: Coming soon – Please confirm your participation via email by 13 November 2026. ——– WORKSHOP 3 | BLOOM: CREATIVE CREATURES – MULTISENSORY WORLD OF DISCOVERY Stepping into a New World and Discovering New Possibilities Within A Hands-On Creative Workshop for Children Facilitators : Wipavee Patoompong (Kru Som), Michela Currone (Kru Michela), Maneerut Singhanart (Kru Ann) – TING-A-TONG and POON POON THEATRE COMPANY Saturday–Sunday, 23–24 January 2027 | Onsite Morning session: 10.30 – 12.00 hrs. Afternoon session: 14.00 – 15.30 hrs. Venue: Hall, L Floor Bloom: Creative Creatures opens up a multisensory learning experience through play, inviting children—like newly discovered creatures—to embark on an adventure into a “magical land” created through their own choices, play, and imagination. Children become explorers, players, storytellers, and co-creators of a new world. Over 90 minutes, they will journey through body and movement, art, music, and theatre with Poon Poon Theatre Company, alongside Light & Sound experiences and an Immersive Art Installation at the heart of the space. Light, sound, objects, artists, performers, and teachers become companions along the way, opening doors for children to discover possibilities on their own. Because when the world of play is open enough, children may discover more than new things around them. They may also discover new aspects of themselves, new roles, and new possibilities within. Registration: Open to **30 Children (aged 4 – 12) per session Registration period: 19 December 2026–20 January 2027 Register: Coming soon – Please confirm your participation via email by 22 January 2027 Participation Guidelines – Art Around Us is suitable for children aged 4 – 12 years. – All activities are free of charge, with a **THB 300 deposit required per workshop. – The deposit will be refunded on the day of the activity. At the Intersections - A Regional Roundtable on Civil Society and Climate Action in Southeast Asia
At the Intersections is a regional roundtable bringing together civil society leaders from across South and Southeast Asia who are working at the intersections of climate, health, food systems, energy and livelihoods. The conversation will focus on what it takes to advance integrated climate action in practice: the institutional conditions that enable organisations to succeed, the funding and organisational constraints that can hold this work back, and the challenges that are often shared across countries but addressed in isolation. Through a facilitated peer dialogue, participants will exchange experiences, surface promising approaches, and identify areas where deeper regional learning or collaboration could be valuable. The roundtable aims to create a candid space for organisations working close to communities to shape a stronger shared understanding of what effective, locally grounded climate action requires.

Thailand's Youth Poetry Slam
The Thailand Youth Poetry Slam is a spoken word competition for young poets aged 8–17 from across Thailand. The competition has two categories: Junior (age 8-12) and Senior (13-17). Prizes and certificates will be awarded to participating students. Students will perform their original poems on stage, using their voices, emotions and creativity to express their ideas, experiences and perspectives. It is a fun and empowering opportunity for young people to speak up, be heard, and connect with others through poetry. Students may perform solo, in pairs, or in groups of up to four. All poems must be original and may be performed in English, Thai, or a bilingual format. The event is open to the public and celebrates youth voices, creativity, diversity and community. We hope to bring young poets, teachers, families and audiences together to listen, learn and be inspired by the next generation of storytellers. We also hope that this event will be the beginning of a growing Thailand-wide youth poetry community, creating opportunities for schools and educators in different provinces to connect, collaborate, and perhaps even organise youth poetry slams in their own communities in the future. Theme: We Destine : The World We Want to Live in The future is not something that happens to us-it is something we create. As part of Bangkok Climate Action Week, this year's Youth Slam theme, "We Destine: The World We Want to Live in," invites young people to imagine the future they want to live in and the role they play in shaping it. From climate justice and sustainability to community, hope, and resilience, participants are encouraged to reflect on the choices we make today and how they influence tomorrow. What kind of world are we building? What responsibilities do we carry? What gives us hope? Through poetry and spoken word, young voices are invited to dream, question, challenge, and inspire action towards a more just and sustainable future.

Heritage Food Systems Lunch
*PLEASE REGISTER AND BUY A TICKET FIRST BY CONTACTING US* A communal long-table lunch built around the heritage Thai ingredients at risk of disappearing from everyday life. Beginning with a guided walk through the garden and ReWaste space, guests move into a short hands-on activity with one heritage ingredient before sitting down together for a shared lunch featuring dishes built entirely around these flavours. The centrepiece is not the food alone but the conversation around it. A facilitated discussion invites guests to reflect on food memory, what we’ve stopped eating and why, and what is lost when a traditional ingredient disappears from our plates. The lunch closes with one question put to the whole table: “What’s one ingredient, dish, or piece of food knowledge you want to make sure isn’t forgotten?” An intimate gathering, designed to be the beginning of something longer. Every guest leaves as part of the Tepa Garden community, connected to an ongoing programme of heritage food workshops, and a growing network of people in Bangkok who believe that what we eat is inseparable from the health of our land, our culture, and our climate. (Drinks sold separately from event ticket price)

Tepa Regenerative Network Evening
Bangkok has a growing community of people working in sustainability, regenerative agriculture, food systems, climate action, and conscious design. But too often we’re working in silos, unaware of what the person in the next field is doing or how our work might connect. Cross-Pollination is an evening at Baan Tepa’s garden designed to change that. After forty minutes of genuine conversation, the circles dissolve into open networking with drinks in the garden. The format is simple by design. No panels, no presentations, no pressure. Just the right people in the right space with a reason to talk. Every guest leaves as part of the Tepa Garden community, connected to an ongoing programme of nature workshops, community events, and a growing network of people in Bangkok building a more regenerative future together.

Conscious Dining Day by Future Table
Conscious Dining Day brings together citizens and partners from across Thailand’s food system to make healthier, more balanced, diverse, and sustainable eating a choice we can make today. Conscious Dining Day is built on a simple idea: a single plate of food may seem small, but when millions of food choices are made every day, they form a system. Trace even one ingredient back to its source, and you may find a farming family, the agricultural practices of a particular place, an ecosystem, and multiple businesses along the supply chain, all connected before that ingredient eventually arrives as part of a meal on our table. And while everything on our plate may have traveled a long way, across places and seasons, before reaching us, the impact of that meal travels just as far beyond the table. What we eat can bring us closer to, or further away from, the hospital. The money we spend travels back through the food system to producers. Sales figures influence the direction businesses take. Every plate is connected to resource use, from people and produce to the environment. This session brings together the key ideas and conversations from a full day of in-depth discussions, translating them into a more accessible format for journalists and creators interested in food and its wider impact. In the style of a Lecture Bar, creating a space to meet, exchange perspectives, and hear ideas you can take further into new stories, conversations, and creative work.

Bangmot Bio-Cruise
The SAFETist Bio-Cruise is a low-carbon eco-tourism initiative hosted at SAFETist Farm in collaboration with the Araya Bangmot Creative Community Enterprise. Driven by the vision of Inclusive Climate Action, the program utilizes clean zero-emission electric boats—supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Thailand—to eliminate noise and air pollution along the Bangmot Canal. Partnering with Scripps College and the 30x30 Thailand Coalition for academic expertise, the cruise invites participants to explore, observe, and document local biodiversity, including native bird and plant species, establishing a crucial ecological database for future conservation. Beyond environmental protection, the project leverages a Citizen Science approach to empower youth and attendees as Active Environmental Citizens who can act as local explorers, eco-communicators, and community change-makers. Managed directly by the local community enterprise, the initiative boosts the grassroots economy by generating sustainable income for neighborhood vendors. Ultimately, it serves as a practical sandbox model to demonstrate environmental impact, paving the way for public policy push toward nationwide electric boat adoption and formal protection of urban canal green spaces.

Balancing Nature and Communities: Social Safeguards in Biodiversity Conservation
This panel will explore how conservation and restoration practitioners work with forest and coastal communities. Discussions will cover implementing free, prior and informed consent (FPIC) processes, developing inclusive livelihoods, addressing human-wildlife conflict, and ensuring that communities’ role in managing and protecting the environment is reflected in policy and public finance. Drawing on field evidence and experience, it will show how social safeguards and inclusive economic models can be implemented with communities. It positions women, people with disabilities, and customary rights holders as partners in design and decision-making from the outset. Effective conservation and climate action depend on their consent and on recognition of their knowledge and work.

Have you ever wondered how the food we eat, the products we buy, and the choices we make every day may be connected to forests, watersheds, and communities hundreds of kilometers away? Join us for an interactive mini exhibition that explores the hidden connections between Bangkok and Nan. Through hands-on activities, discover how food systems, land use, livelihoods, and nature are linked, and share your thoughts on how we can help create a future where both people and nature thrive.

Beyond the Forest: Stories of Governance, Justice, and Restoration - Photo Exhibition
Beyond the Forest: Stories of Governance, Justice, and Restoration is a photo exhibition that showcases community experiences of environmental governance in Indonesia. The exhibition highlights stories from policy advocacy, forest protection, law enforcement, rehabilitation, women’s leadership, community enterprises, and forest-based livelihoods. Through visual storytelling, the exhibition invites visitors to see how environmental governance works in practice. The exhibition will combine photos to make complex environmental governance more accessible to a broader public. We will create a space of experimentation by using visual media to connect people with environmental governance, an issue that may seem distant from everyday life, but in fact shapes communities, livelihoods, and climate futures.

CCCL Film Festival at BKKCAW 2026
Changing Climate, Changing Lives (CCCL) Film Festival, under Tonkla Rak Lok Foundation, together with HERA, Hai-Jai, mlkywy.hub, Snappy Duck, and noble PLAY, presents “CCCL Film Festival at BKKCAW 2026,” a two-day program exploring the relationships between living beings, biodiversity, and the environments we share. taking place on 3–4 October 2026 at noble PLAY (Ploenchit BTS Station), the program consists of a curated selection of short films, photography and art exhibitions, and a conversation for filmmakers and environmental and social storytellers as part of Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026. The film program brings together a selection of outstanding Thai and international short films previously screened at CCCL Film Festival. From threatened wetlands to communities working together to protect their local ecosystems, the films invite audiences to consider the connections between living beings, biodiversity, and the changing climate, and how changes within one part of an ecosystem can affect everything around it. The program will also feature a screening of YANUNI on 4 October at 3:00 PM, directed by Richard Ladkani and co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio. The documentary follows an Indigenous woman leader as she fights to protect her ancestral lands in the Amazon rainforest. Variety described the film as an environmental documentary that is “thrilling and romantic.” Alongside the film program, HERA will present a collection of 12 photographs documenting the impacts of rising urban temperatures on women, including how extreme heat affects their work and health. Hai-Jai and mlkywy.hub will also bring back some of the works from their BREATHE exhibition presented in late 2025, to this pop-up exhibition titled “BREATHE Again.” Bringing the works into a new context, the exhibition continues to explore stories, memories, and our relationship with the environment. On 4 October at 2:00 PM, Snappy Duck will host a conversation exploring the role and importance of environmental storytelling. The session will discuss the topic and exchange perspectives on how environmental stories can connect with audiences and explore ways to move these stories beyond awareness towards meaningful and sustainable change. Through film, exhibition, and conversation, CCCL Film Festival at BKKCAW 2026 creates a space to look at climate and environmental issues not only through data and information, but through the stories, experiences, and relationships that connect all living things.
